Refund policy

This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work at Getapy (operated by Kauffritz GmbH). It sets out your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU and German law (Widerrufsrecht) and how to use it.

1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If your order is shipped within the EU, you have a legal right to withdraw within 14 days without giving any reason, starting from the day you (or a person you nominate, other than the carrier) receive the goods.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement of your decision (an email is fine) to support@getapy.com with your order number and the items you want to return. We'll confirm and send return instructions within 1–2 business days (often the same day).

You can use the Model Withdrawal Form in our Terms — Annex A, but you're not required to.

2. Return conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must be in the same condition you received them: unused, unworn, with all tags attached and in the original packaging, with the receipt or proof of purchase. Please pack securely to avoid damage in transit.

3. How to start a return (RMA)

  1. Email support@getapy.com with your order number, item(s) and reason for return.
  2. We confirm the return within 1–2 business days and send return instructions.
  3. Send approved returns to the address below.

Items sent back without an approved return request (RMA) may be refused.

4. Return shipping costs

  • Withdrawal (change of mind): you bear the direct cost of return shipping, unless we state otherwise. If we offer a prepaid label for convenience, the label cost may be deducted from your refund (we'll inform you in advance).
  • Faulty or incorrect items: we cover return shipping or refund your reasonable return postage once the issue is confirmed.

You must send the goods back within 14 days of telling us you withdraw.

5. Damages and issues

Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged or incorrect, so we can evaluate and make it right. Attach photos of the damage or issue, and a photo of the shipping box if it's also damaged.

6. Non-returnable items (statutory exceptions)

The right to withdraw does not apply to, among others:

  • goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
  • sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery;
  • goods that, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items;
  • digital content after delivery has begun with your prior express consent.

7. Exchanges

For the fastest exchange, return the item per this policy and place a new order for the item you want.

8. Refunds — timing and method

We'll notify you after we receive and inspect your return. If approved, we issue the refund to your original payment method within 14 days at the latest, counted from the day we receive the goods back or you provide proof of sending them — whichever is earlier (statutory). Bank or card issuer processing times may add a few days.

If 10 business days have passed since our approval and you don't see the refund, please contact your bank or card issuer first, then contact us at support@getapy.com.

9. What we refund

  • We refund the item price and the standard outbound shipping (not premium methods you selected).
  • We may deduct any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
  • If a prepaid return label was provided for convenience, its cost may be deducted from the refund (we'll inform you in advance).

10. Proof of posting and risk

Please keep your postal receipt and tracking number. Until the parcel reaches us, the goods are your responsibility — this doesn't apply to returns we collect ourselves.
